Vickie Jean Schomber of Pleasant Hill, Missouri was born May 28, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Thomas George Dryden and Carol Jean Cook. She departed this life with her mother and daughter by her side on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Pleasant Hill Health and Rehab at the age of 63 years, 8 months and 28 days.
Vickie was an amazing hair dresser, friend, a great mom and grandmother. She loved her kids and grandkids and worked hard to provide for them. Vickie enjoyed growing and working in her flower garden, cooking and looking for antiques.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Courtney Dwyer; her grandparents, Edith and Thurman Cook and her uncle, Robert “Bobby” Louis Cook.
She is survived by three children, Dwayne Lillie and wife Wendy, Asheville, North Carolina, Shannon Hanlin and husband Ryan, Raymore, Missouri, Christopher Lillie and wife Karen, Asheville, North Carolina; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her mother, Carol Cook, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; four siblings, Michael Dryden and wife Mary, Naples, Florida, Donna Hall and husband Ed, State of Ohio, Ricky Dryden and wife Kristin, Asheville, North Carolina, Christina Hoppe, Naples, Florida; other relatives and friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2022 at the New Liberty Baptist Church, 625 Olivette Road, Asheville, North Carolina 28804.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
