Wayne Hendershot

Wayne Hendershot was born to Charles and Patricia Hendershot on June 12, 1956 in Yuba City, CA. He passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2024.

Wayne joined the Navy in 1977. He was a Navy Corpsman assigned to the Marine Corp. After leaving the Marines he began his career as a paramedic/firefighter in Northern California. He was a firefighter for 30 + years in the same location. Wayne loved all things outdoors. He was an avid water skier, a master diver and he loved duck hunting with his beloved dog Purina. His greatest joy were his children, Sam Hendershot, and Jessica Hendershot both live in Vacaville, CA.

He leaves behind his wife, Deni Hendershot, Harrisonville, his children Sam and Jessie and his stepchildren Jacy Eckerman (Jacob), Billy Gray (Kristi), Bryce Gray (Alise) and Drew Gray (Shannon) and nine grandchildren. Wayne was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan, and he leaves behind his dogs Dak and Dallas.
