Wayne Rodney Pauley was born June 25th 1957 in Kewanee IL. Wayne joined loved ones in heaven on September 19th 2023. His passing was very sudden and not expected but he did pass surrounded by family that loves him.

Shortly after being born in Illinois, the family moved near Lucerne Missouri and raised cattle and started their own logging company. This is something Wayne really enjoyed, growing up working in the timber with his dad. Early on in high school he liked playing basketball and was considered “short and fast!" After high school he had another joy.. his cars! A Chevy chevelle and a mustang mach 1. He then took one to Colorado and decided to join the service in 1975. Within that same year he graduated high school. He went on to graduate college in 1987 with honors. He achieved a Bachelors in church divinity and a Master’s degree in hospice and mental health. He attended Mount Olive College in North Carolina. He lived there for 6 years and preached the word of God as a pastor at a place called Free Baptist Children’s Home Orphanage in North Carolina. He also preached in places around the world such as Turkey and Germany while in the service. He went on to have a family with his wife Gina M Chaverri and they had a son named Joshua Wayne Pauley. They lived in Kansas after leaving North Carolina. His career as Joshua grew up was a Social Worker and he retired with state of Missouri family services, helping kids have great homes and families. One thing he was known for was his love for God and the love he had for his family. He went on to live near his son no matter where he went and in the last years of his life, he got promoted to grandpa like he always wanted. His Grandson became part of his everyday world, and they made so many memories. He had so much love and joy for his family. His relationship with his son was so strong everyone around could feel the love they had for each other… it was A father son relationship bound by God.

Before Wayne was called to his heavenly home, he very much enjoyed hunting and fishing. Out at the farm you could always find him on a tractor brush cutting anything. Farm trips were almost every weekend thing with his son while growing up. He enjoyed Christian and County music. He was a huge Dale Earnhardt SR fan and loved to watch football as well. He enjoyed having conversations with people, he could talk to anyone anywhere. He could also fall asleep and nap at anytime and anywhere. He loved to eat and enjoyed home cooked meals with his favorite desert on the side, brownies of course. The strongest love he had was for Jesus and he passed that on to his son. He loved God, his family, and his country.

His father Lloyd Guy Pauley passed away in 1988. He is survived by his mother Barbara Adine Pauley, son Joshua Wayne Pauley and his wife Ashlee E. Pauley Grandson Layne Joshua Lee Pauley, brother Gary and his wife Laurel, brother Tony and his wife Carol, brother Terry and his wife Montana. He had four nieces and one nephew.
