William 'Beaky' Jacob Mills, Jr.

William Jacob "Beaky" Mills Jr, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born September 1, 1929 in Neosho, Missouri the son of William Jacob Sr. and Josephine Hortense (Herrin) Mills. He departed this life on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Crown Care Center, Harrisonville at the age of 86 years, 4 months and 27 days.
Beaky was a laborer for various places in the area. He was a Army Veteran and loved to fish.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his only son, Michael Landon Mills on June 14, 1993 and a sister, Anne Grasher.
Beaky is survived by 6 siblings, Mary Brown, Grandview, Missouri, Rachel Hale and husband Ron, Shawnee, Kansas, Ron Mills, Harrisonville, Missouri, Ted Mills, Leonard Mills and wife Verna, Roy Mills and wife Judy all of Garden City, Missouri; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
