Willie Warren Lathrop

Mrs. Willie Warren Lathrop, of Independence, Missouri was born November 3, 1921 in Nevada, Missouri the daughter of Warren Lander and Lucille (Ancell) Haynes. She departed this life Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the Westridge Gardens, Raytown, Missouri at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 17 days.
In 1935, Willie was united in marriage to Lindwood Lathrop.
Willie was employed as an inspector for Western Electric, Lee?s Summit, Missouri until her retirement. She was a 29 year member of the First Baptist Church, Raytown, Missouri.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Lathrop; a great-grandson, Joseph Manfredi; two sisters, Betty Ryan and Frances Kraus; a half-sister, Sissy Chott.
She is survived by her son, Bud Lathrop and wife Gay, Raytown, Missouri; a daughter, Katherine F. Kingman and husband Richard, Kansas City, Missouri; four grandchildren, Lance, Brad, Dana and Chris; four great-grandchildren; a half-sister, Marlene Dickens; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.
